An upload failed

Identify a local rejection or processing failure, fix the source, and retry safely.

Where did the upload fail?

Open Datasets and find the file under Uploads in progress. A file rejected before upload and a file that failed during processing need different fixes.

  1. If Everyn says only CSV files are supported, save the source as CSV and choose that file.
  2. If the file is larger than 25 MB, reduce or split it before using the dashboard upload.
  3. If processing reports malformed headers or rows, repair the CSV structure and upload a corrected file.
  4. If the failure row offers Retry, use it after checking that the original source is still correct.

What should I collect if retry fails?

Keep the failed entry visible in Datasets.

  1. Record the source filename, approximate time, and exact error.
  2. Copy the upload ID or request ID if Everyn displays one.
  3. Describe whether the failure occurred before progress began or during dataset preparation.
  4. Contact support without attaching sensitive source data unless Everyn explicitly requests a safe sample.
